Arthur Blessitt was a Sunset Strip preacher in Hollywood back in the '60s & '70s. Along with guys like John Rydgren, he made a pretty big impact on Christian youth culture. Supposedly his church even had a house rock band called "Eternal Rush" made up of converted drug addicts.

This album tells the story of the time he dragged a huge cross across the entire United States of America.

He put out another record called "Soul Session" that looks promising with a wild psychedelic cover but I've never heard it.
